RIO DE JANERIO CARNIVAL

                       THE RIO CARNIVAL AN INCOMPARALE EVENT

Carnival is a party that is celebrated in many countries around the world, nothing reaches the magnitude of the Rio de Janeiro Carnival. 

Undoubtedly, the most famous event of the year is the Rio de Janeiro Carnival, one of the largest shows in the Americas and one of the greatest manifestations of carioca culture, which fills the streets of the city with music and color during a week in the spectacular parade they capture their cultures and traditions.

This celebration catches my attention because it is a party very similar to the Barranquilla carnival, they make parades with traditional customes, people dance in the streets and during that week people make a lot of parties around the city.  

TRADICIONAL DANCE

Rio Carnival revolves around the role that Samba schools play in the parade. It was a dance style brought by African slaves. 

Like Barranquilla, they prepare this event for months, keeping their traditions alive, sharing their historical memory from an artistic and cultural approach. 

But the Rio de Janeiro Carnival is not restricted to samba schools and official parades, but rather invades the streets of the city and each of its inhabitants.

As you can see this parades are very similar, barranquilla and rio de janerio carnival keep the big similarities in their celebration and that is the reason why I like this celebration a lot.
